日中韩本月将举行财长会议

日本、中国、韩国将借本月20日起在澳大利亚凯恩斯召开20国集团财长央行行长会议之机，时隔2年零4个月，举行三国财长会议。

据日本财务省透露，日中韩三国将于20国集团会议前一天的19日，在凯恩斯举行财长会议。

日中韩三国财长会议此前几乎每年都在5月召开亚洲开发银行年会时举行，但去年由于围绕冲绳县尖阁诸岛（中国称"钓鱼岛"）的问题，以及日本内阁成员参拜靖国神社问题，日本与中韩两国的关系陷入低谷，因此没有举行三国财长会议。今年的三国财长会议也因韩国相关部长忙于处理客轮沉没事件而未能在5月举行。

三国将在本月举行的财长会议上就最近的经济形势，以及加强金融合作等问题交换意见，并发表联合声明。这一会议是否能为改善日中和日韩关系提供契机，令人十分关注。

日中韓財務相会議 ２年４か月ぶりに開催へ

日本、中国、韓国の３か国は、今月２０日からオーストラリアで開かれる国際金融会議に併せて、２年４か月ぶりに財務相会議を開催することになりました。

先進国と新興国によるＧ２０＝主要２０か国の財務相・中央銀行総裁会議が今月２０日と２１日にオーストラリアのケアンズで開かれ、日本、中国、韓国の３か国の財務相も出席する予定です。

日本の財務省によりますと、Ｇ２０会議が始まる前日の１９日に、ケアンズで３か国による財務相会議を開催することになり、実現すれば２年４か月ぶりとなります。

日中韓の財務相会議は、５月に開かれるアジア開発銀行の総会に併せてほぼ毎年開かれてきましたが、去年は沖縄県の尖閣諸島を巡る問題や閣僚の靖国神社参拝を背景に関係が冷え込んだため、ことしは韓国側の閣僚が旅客船の沈没事故の対応に追われたため、開催が見送られました。

今回の会議では、最近の経済情勢や金融協力の強化策などについて意見を交わしたうえで共同声明を発表する予定で、日中、日韓の関係改善のきっかけになるか注目されそうです。

Finance ministers of Japan, China, S.Korea to meet

The finance ministers of Japan, China and South Korea will meet for the first time in more than 2 years, on the sidelines of the G20 meeting.

They will come together on Friday, ahead of the G20 conference of finance ministers and central bank governors scheduled this weekend in Cairns, Australia.

The 3-party meeting had been held almost every May on the sidelines of the general meeting of the Asian Development Bank.

It was cancelled last year due to strained relations over the Senkaku Islands in the East China Sea, as well as the visit to Yasukuni Shrine by Japan's Cabinet members. It was put off again this year due to a South Korean ferry accident.
The finance chiefs of the 3 countries are expected to discuss economic affairs and measures to strengthen cooperation. They plan to issue a joint statement.

Observers are focusing on whether the meeting will help improve Japan's ties with the two countries.
